We’ve also tried this classic chicken salad with grapes (red & green seedless, halved), chopped toasted pecans, and diced apples (tossed in orange juice to prevent browning). All are great options. You just cannot go wrong!
How to make Easy Chicken Salad
Once you’ve chopped your chicken and celery and gathered the remaining ingredients (mayo, relish, seasoned salt, pepper, almonds, golden raisins etc.), combine ingredients in a large bowl.

Mix the ingredients until everything is well coated and combined. You can always add a bit more mayonnaise at this point if you feel it needs it!

That’s it! Serve just as it is, or scoop onto leaves of romaine, a wrap, or sandwich. Store any leftover classic chicken salad in a bowl in the refrigerator for up to three days. We hope that you enjoy the recipe!
