Easy Cornbread Recipe
This Easy Cornbread is ultra moist and rich! Nobody would ever guess that it starts with a box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix. If you need a great go-to recipe for cornbread, this is it.

It is the add-ins of creamed corn and sour cream that really take this easy cornbread recipe to another level. Make it once and you’ll want to come back to this recipe again and again.

- 2 Boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 8 oz. sour cream (we use full fat)
- 8 oz. can cream style corn
How to make Easy Cornbread
Combine all of the above ingredients: cornbread mix, eggs, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, sour cream, and cream style corn. Stir until well combined and pour into a prepared 9×13 baking dish or pan.
Peek in as the bake time approaches the 30 minute mark and adjust time as needed. An inserted toothpick should could out clean or with just a few moist crumbs attached.

Easy Cornbread Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 8 oz. sour cream we use full fat
- 8 oz. can cream style corn
Instructions
- Spray /prepare a 9×13 baking dish or pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Ignore the directions on the back of the Jiffy mix. Combine all of the ingredients together (cornbraed mix, eggs, oil, salt, sugar, sour cream, and creamed corn) and pour into a 9×13 baking dish. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the top begins to brown & a toothpick comes out clean or with just a few crumbs attached.
