If you love chocolate and peanut butter, put these delicious chocolate peanut butter cookies on your must-bake list! Chocolate cookies are filled with peanut butter chips in this go-to cookie recipe.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium sized bowl, add the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk to blend and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add sugar, softened butter, eggs, and vanilla. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until lightened in color and fluffy. (Approximately 2 minutes.)
Next, add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, mixing on low speed just until incorporated. The batter will be thick. Then, stir in the peanut butter chips until evenly distributed.
Next, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto an a parchment lined or ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Cool the cookies for 1-2 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Makes 5 dozen.
