Chocolate Pudding Cookies
These soft and chocolatey Chocolate Pudding Cookies are so easy and delicious!

These delicious cookies come together in no time. They are light, flavorful, and simple to make. With chocolate instant pudding mix in the batter along with chocolate chips, they bring a double dose of chocolate.

Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour
- Baking Soda & Salt
- Chocolate Pudding Mix (do not prepare the pudding)
- Unsalted Butter (If using salted butter, omit the salt from the recipe.)
- Light Brown Sugar for added moisture and flavor
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla Extract
- Chocolate Chips
Preparing the Recipe
First, we combined the flour, baking soda, & salt, and set aside.
Then, in a mixing bowl, we creamed the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Next, we added the chocolate pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until combined.

Then, we stirred in the flour mixture, mixing just until combined, and then stirred in the chocolate chips.

Then, we dropped the dough in rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased (or parchment lined) cookie sheets and baked until edges were set (about 10-12 minutes).

Chocolate Pudding Cookies
Ingredients
- 2¼ cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt (If using salted butter, no need to use the salt.)
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened (This is 1 cups)
- ¾ cups light brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (adjust amount to your liking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Whisk together the all purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
- Next, in a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed. Mix in the pudding mix and vanilla until blended. Mix in the eggs, one by one, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the flour mixture, just until blended. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop the cookie dough in rounded spoonfuls onto the ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Edges will turn golden brown. Makes about 3 dozen.
- Move the cookies to a cooling rack to cool. Then, store in an airtight container.
